Limno, resident soft, shy, and gender-addled boygirl, is useless coping well with the daily horrors of life. Sure, he's not much of a looker nor a moneymaker—like, he doesn't feel particularly interesting—yet somehow he's blessed with a sexy alt-goth dragon for a girlfriend... which is VERY validating and NOT stressful at all whatsoever! Limno is very good, promise, they even recently made a new friend! Could a depressed person do THAT?!?
Gloria, resident Is-She-A-Creep-comma-Autistic-comma-Or-Both-questionmark woman, has a relatively cushy job that she completely tunes out of, preferring to go on walks in the woods or to stay at home, looking at way-too-detailed images of monsters. On one such walk, she spots a guy(?) staring at a dead bird, and... Well, that's that! Her obsession gene is now switched to ON.
Surely only good things lie ahead for everyone involved.

The art, the themes, the character designs, but most of all...the dialogue. My god the dialogue! It's so perfectly imperfect, so on-point with it's tone and naturalness, that I'd put it on par with the dialogue in Night in the Woods. This is an absolute 10/10 and I can't wait for more!
It's hard to really put into words why this one is so good. The art and music are both stellar, but what really drags me in is how the flaws of the characters seem so well rooted. I feel like I could know real people like them, or even be like them at times. Limno's freakout in the car is brutal, but I've been that panicked about stuff before! It really changes how you think and act!
The characters just all have so much depth to them, like how Gloria has such a range from being completely detached and calculating to being focused and caring (in her own way). I bet she watches reddit posts of trucks trying to drive under bridges that are too low and getting their roofs sheared off.
I really like the subtle escalation of things, where you can kind of see stuff building but it's unclear where it'll go, so there's this tension until you find out what happens. I'm so excited for the next part
Very compelling read. the character design is great, the aesthetic texture of the game is harmonious. the music is good. the medium is utilized well with the way it plays with the text. it ended and i wanted more. I look forward to the rest.
I can't help but to be fascinated by this, the script, the characters, the atmosphere that's sometimes unsettling and then gets really comfortable. The walkthrough was a very nice experience and finding me projecting a bit with the character's intricacies speaks wonders about the writing. Dear Pengo, you deserve every slight ounce of positive feedback you can get fromm your current and future works
WOOW!!! holy shit this was so amazing. i love gloria SOSO much. her world is so interesting (and i also love cherri's friend group.. it reminds me of gcs i used to be a part of!!) so excited to see more of this story and its beautiful (and wretched) cast.
